Manage EDT Command operations

This is the scenario. There are bunch of EDT Command operations waiting in the thread to modify the model in background.

All the operations are running one by one. But the problem is that if any action is triggered inside MPS is taking more time. For example, clicking a root node in the project tree is taking time to open in the editor.

How can I manage this issue?
