Features to expect in version 2017.3

Hi,

Do you have any info about what features we can expect in version 2017.3? The "What's new in MPS 2017.3" page seems to mention only some minor features:

https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/MPS/What%27s+new+in+MPS+2017.3

Can we expect the new query, generator and editor definition language mentioned in the roadmap?

https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/MPS/MPS+public+roadmap

Also, when can we expect the improved table support and the wiki language?

I am just asking these questions, because the roadmap wiki page does not seem to be up-to-date, since it has a TODO not just for 2017.3 but also for 2017.2.

BTW, is the new editor definition language going to include Sascha Lißon’s Grammar Cells feature or something similar? Is the wiki language going to be similar to mbeddr’s documentation language?

http://mbeddr.com/2015/12/01/grammarCells.html

Keep up the good work! MPS is a fantastic product! :-)

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

thank you for your support, I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, the roadmap has become way out-of-date. We have stopped referring to it from the website a while back and now we removed it completely. Sorry for puzzling you.

As for the up-coming features, they will all be mentioned in the "What's new" page eventually. We just need to exercise more discipline in updating the page as we develop the features. :)

Regards,

Vaclav
