Plans for MPS

Hi MPS-Team,

What are your plan for MPS in the near future? Do you have some

road-map? What issues you plan to address for release 1.0?

Therea are a lot of thing that changing in MPS now, and it is hardly

possible to predict what will be changed on the way to release 1.0, but

I can say what will be implmeneted in several next builds.

In the next build we will have version control for models (history,

diff, merge, update, commit etc). Also we will have pluggable custom

persistence, using it you can define serialization/deserialization

to/from XML descriptors, or more complex text or binary format (now you

have to write it by hand by in near future we will provide XML mapping

language). There will be improvements in usability and performace of course.
