As a workaround you can extract zip file under MPS_HOME/plugin/ to

IDEA_HOME/plugins/MPSPlugin

Why it isn't seen as directory? It is hardlink or something else? Can

you see any directories?

In MacOS X, applications are bundled in packages. You have to "open" the

package - "show package contents" - to see the hidden directory structure.

Though, IDEA already knows how to do that, with its "select path" dialog.

You can just paste the full path into the dialog.

Of course I'm sure a native file dialog would work fine, the joys of Swing :-)
