Very simple text generating document editor

Hi,

Would it be possible to write a very simple text editor with the current

state of MPS? Something structurally similar with a very simplified docbook,

which later can be converted to HTML, or LaTeX? At the moment we use XML and

XSLT for that, but editing the XML documents is a little bit cumbersome,

esp. for non-developers.

Cheers,

Tom

Is MPS-Wiki completely developped with MPS? Would it be possible to add

something crippled down (mini text editor) to the MPS distribution?

MPSWiki is developed using MPS. We reused a lot of GUI related code from MPS IDE. Also we use MPS editor for editing and MPS models as a data level for our application.

It is good idea to release textLanguage in MPS distribution and I think in one of the next build we do so.

Is it already contained in ~/.MPSWiki/ ?

Yes, You can get it from there but you also need jar with classes. If you want to use it now you can get language from ~/.MPSWiki/MPS/projects/textLanguage, but you also need textLanguage.jar (you can download it from mpswiki installation if you look in jnlp xml file).
