Access OperationContext from within typesystem rules

Hi,
I've created a preferences component for custom settings. In this context I have two questions:

1.: Is there a way to access the component from within the typesystem rules? In intentions I have the editorContext to get the actual project, but the typesystem rules haven't any parameters. Is there another possibility to get the actual OperationContext or access the project preferences component somehow?

2.: How can I force the editor view to recheck typesystem rules and mark errors. It's not very comfortable to close and reopen the editor page to recheck the typesystem rules.
