How to programmatically create a Model within a Module (such as a Solution)?

I'm developing an importer that loads data from a file and transforms it into a content in MPS.

The model destination of the import functionality is set as hardcoded path, but I'd like to change this in order to programmatically create a Model within an existing Solution that would be the destination of the imported content.

I've been looking into the similar questions, but all of them are very old and I could not get any hints to anything that would work now.
