Editor for Language embedding Php 7?

I have here a language which embedds php code. I really would like to have editor support for the mixed language . The embedding language is not so big so I am quite confident i can find the time to do the implementation, but i doubt i will be able to do the whole php enchilada.

Is there a php language model for mps? Or maybe is it possible to embed phpstorms capabilities into a mps language?

Or should i look somewhere else?
