Does Diagram Editor have Implicit Connections?

Hi, 

I'm currently exploring the capabilities of the Diagram Editor in MPS.

I've seen the implicit ports: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/mps/diagramming-editor.html#usingimplicitports

I'm trying to do something similar for connections in a diagram editor. i.e. I have a behavior that returns a list of connections. 

When I create connections this way, nothing is displayed on the Diagramming Editor, is this expected? does MPS Support Implicit connections?
