That's really strange - I downloaded latest sources, made XPath rootable, regenerated editor and got it working:

Can you file a request for it so I'll be able to check your project with latest MPS sources. There can be a chance we simply don't have such an editor in MPS, so we don't see this problem...

Hi!This is a limitation of current MPS version. You can edit node internals only inside MPS editor, not in the tree.

Right now it's possible to debug this code only using normal java debugger connected to the running MPS application. In future we are going to allow DSL debugging for MPS languages.
