Broken Documentation

I'm assuming you know this, but the MPS documentation is littered with broken links, which makes it pretty useless. It's definitely not a great first impression for people interested in using this tool.

Which documents? I'm the one that prepares the 3 pdf documents from the HTML pages (documentation, cookbook, tutorials). Did you find errors into the pdf documents?

Referring specifically to the online documentation at https://www.jetbrains.com/help/mps/3.4/mps.html

For example, on this page: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/mps/3.4/project.html you can see links at the bottom in the 'See Also' section - 'Creating and Managing Projects' which leads to no where. This is a problem throughout as there are many of these kinds of broken links.

Hi Jon,

try this page instead https://www.jetbrains.com/mps/documentation/

From here you have the link to the main documentation page https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/MPSD34/MPS+User's+Guide
It seems to me a lot of documentation but it's true that MPS is also huge.

Together with many other links, you can find the pdf documents I've mentioned above.
Remember that the content of the pdfs is the same of the Confluence Wiki, pdfs are generated documents, so you can use the HTML or the PDF documentation depends which one is better for you.

With respect to the online help you reported to have problems I don't know, you should wait for a reply from the MPS team :-)

Bye,

Mar
