MPS: Update info Connection failed. Please check your network connection and try again.

Trying MPS for the first time. On starting I get the error message "Update info Connection failed. Please check your network connection and try again."

I'm guessing it's because I'm behind a proxy. Does MPS have a configuration for this? Running on Mac OS X.

Yes, sure there is - hit Cmd + , to get the settings page, type "proxy" and you should see the right config panel.
