Determine caret position inside editor node

Is it possible to determine caret position inside editor node such as EditorCell_Property? It can be very useful if we need to split Word concept into 2 Word's by hitting space, for example.

This option presented in textLanguage, but I can't view source of SplitWord key map action :-(
