If you change theme and apply change, than you need to restart MPS. Reverting it back without restarting or doing it after restart without another restart, for now can lead to unexpected behaviour ...

Which MPS version do you use?Can you provide more details on steps to reproduce this and full error message (if there is any) from log file (Main menu -> Help -> Show Log)?
